Certified Race Guards Sign-Up

The official course time limit is 3 hours and 30 minutes (16:03/mile pace). The race will utilize a wave start; your official time will not start until you cross the start line. A tail vehicle will follow the last runner at the time limit pace.  If at any time a participant drops behind the tail vehicle, the participant will be picked up in the tail vehicle and transported to the back of the pack to stay on-pace. A strict time limit will be enforced as roads need to be re-opened to regular traffic.

In addition there will be two diversion points on the Course.

COURSE CUT OFF/DIVERSIONS: 

• MILE 4 (Golden Gate Bridge Entrance): All participants must be at mile 4 by 7:50 am. If not there by this time, they will be diverted to mile 7.9. In order to give participants the best opportunity to make this time line, we will be hosting a 6:15 am early start for those with a projected finish time of 3:30 or greater.
• MILE 6 (Vista Point): At 7:50 am participants will be diverted to the east pedestrian path of the Golden Gate Bridge.
